Solar Demi: Lighting up the darkness in the Philippines

No matter how bleak the situation, humans are able to come up with ingenious solutions to help each other.  Here’s one of our favorite examples:

Thanks to just a few simple components:  filtered water, plastic bottle, sealant and bleach, 643 homes whose inhabitants were formerly living in complete darkness are now illuminated.
